Should Mojang make more sources renewable?

well here's an idea someone else had about dirt blocks
make it so you can turn rotten flesh into dirt blocks

Currently in Minecraft, you can mix gravel with dirt blocks, make coarse dirt, then hoes can be used to turn it back to regular dirt, effectively transforming 1 gravel to 1 dirt block.

Then there is dirt underground as well as on mountains.

Is dirt common? yes
useless? certainly not, it's used to grow food after all.
the purpose for renewable dirt? to indefinitely be able to repair biomes friends accidentally destroyed by Creeper encounter or dirt blocks they never bothered to pick up and use and just disappeared.

I would like to see a "stone crusher" introduced so we could make gravel out of stone, so we can make use of a surplus of cobblestone either gathered from strip mines or infinite stone generators using lava and water.

This would effectively make both dirt blocks and gravel renewable
for the reasons I've already explained.
