Minecraft poems: Tales from Cornucopia
Hi folks,
I write Minecraft-inspired poems. Here's one:
GREED'S HUNGRY GORGE
"Begone thy baneful spell!" I clepe.
I will not even bother.
My treasure-ladden bag is full,
I cannot take another.
A precious stone, it greets my eye,
Just there beyond the chasm.
Collecting and retrieving it
Becomes a wild phantasm.
A monkey rideth pickaback,
Temptation is a rotter!
And still my mind congratulates,
I am a skillful spotter.
The greed within presents itself
As merry a companion.
A wise man knows, behind it hides
A devil in a canyon.
In reaching out my trembling hand,
I praise my past endeavours.
"Tarnation and Dodgast!" methinks,
And fall into the crevice.

Gonna try make up a Minecraft poem, all freestyle.
Spawned. The flowers in this world
are so bright. My memory is
filled with gaps, with which
I manifest fear. Hope.
Hoping to survive.
Wanting to stay alive.
(hehe, purposeful gaps to show spaces in memory. Lack of rhyme to show disorientation and a rhyming couplet to show the power of hope. Hope being its own little sentence because it's important, ooh! Okay well... analyze it how you will)

Once bitten
Twice dead
Save yourself
shoot the head.
(I didn't come up with it).
