OK everyone, you all may have made some kind of trap playing minecraft (mob and player traps) but have you ever been credited for it? I want all of your best ideas for a trap and maybe a video link for complicated ones. Let everyone know you are smart and brilliant.

perssonlly i would make it so obvious that it is a trap they dont know.
First make a house prefferably a hard material and an iron door. There is no pressure plate.
Second put a sign that says "You need a pressure plate to get in " they will make one and there is tnt under the block with pressure plate.
Third put an empty chest inside so if theyy survive they wasted their time

this trap is better if you are making an adventurecraft map and mod and the setting of
this will take place at the last part of the quest... and they will probably go nuts

yea i created a trapped house and in it is an iron door and you go past it and walk on a pressure plate(thinking it's only connected to the iron door.), so then you walk across sand and you drop into a giant pit of lava, the plate activates 3 TNT charges at the button of the sand layers and destroy the sand stone holding it up. i also made a room of sheer pressure plates to get to a treasure room, there is a pattern to how to get past it but, step on a wrong plate and you blow up, only the blocks under the plates will give you hints. also you climb a ladder into the treasure room and its dark, right under ladder is pressure plate, and you see a chest in front of you open it and blow up due to pressure plate. there is also a iron door going one way and if you destroy the door there is gravel above it and it falls causing lava to pour into the room

hmm interesting nice job although it seems a bit much but at the same time its hard to get out of i give a 8 out of 10

I suggest you create a room 10X10 and then underneath the floor is a room full
of tnt... and the floor must match to the trigger and then connect that trigger underground...
the trigger can be:
>Pressure Plates
>Buttons( but this only matches to stone floors)
next thing is the bait...
on the middle end of the room
create a chest full with diamonds...
or something precious
or create a fake dungeon haha...

ok love the idea however i wouldnt fill the chest with that diamonds maybe nothing or probably dirt if they survive they will get the diamonds.
