Hey, I recently started an SMP and found a mushroom island. I heard somewhere that if you pour water over mycelium, it turns to dirt. I tried this method on a small chunk and after 20 minutes of waiting, it failed. I don't know if this is a rumour, plugin or anything else but if anybody knows why this isn't working please help. Thanks :)

You can also simply dig it up and it'll drop dirt as well.

It has to be done in Low-light area's or nighttime in order to actually work.
