Hey! i could really use some help! i am on a mac and it will never let me play mincraft online i know it has something to do with the mac because my brother has a mac and it does the same thing and another my other brother has pc and it works on his and i used to have a pc and it worked just fine. Please Help!

hey maybe you should force update minecraft, if thats doesnt work i had the same problem (i have a mac too) i deleted the launcher and re downloaded, it worked.

Oh my gosh! it worked! bahahahahaha it's almost just "turn it off and then turn it back on" hahaha that's too great thank you! and thanks everyone else for helping me!

also what are you using to connect? 127.0.0.1 should connect to your localhost no problems.

have you tried from your browser to see if it would work thet way?

I don't think we have the latest java but i can't fix that it won't do it automatically and it won't let me do it manually the only way to do that is to install lion and we don't have that even if we did it slows down the computer too much my mom won't let me slow down the computer that much just for mc

its not mac i got like 10 friends that play on mac and ik other people who got mac and it works. do u got latest java and or updated to lates os version for mac?
