Shading skins isn't a bad thing but does anyone agree that they can be "over-shaded"? It may just be me but I see simple skins that look better than some shaded skins sometimes. Like some skins get ruined by the obsessive amount of shading and I would personally never wear it. Maybe this is just a unpopular opinion but i'd like to discuss this.

Agreed. I think simpler shading is better.

I can agree with this. It's like the evolution of art through history, where less is more. I really like Impressionism and Cubism, where artists reduced their paintings to more simple methods. This can be applied to skins, as eliminating some of the shading makes the skin more simple and visually pleasing.
