Hi there.
I have a small problem, I can't seem to get LB Photo Realism x256 to work. Well it works but it looks like shit. It's supposed to look better. Here are 2 screenshots, 1 of some trees and water, and 1 close up on grass and dirt. What have I done wrong?

Here's my computer specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad Core
RAM: 4 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 Mhz
GPU: MSI GTX 280 1GB
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Java: x64
I have also done a fresh install of java, (removed java completely and redownloaded and reinstalled)
EDIT: Yes I used MCPatcher and it didn't work anyways.
Please help

Oh I see. Well I used this one.
http://www.minecraftdl.com/mcpatcher-hd-fix/
Is that the official one? But even if that isn't the official MCPatcher, I used optifine from here:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-132-optifine-hd-b3-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/
I mean, should it not have worked with optifine then??

First, can you link me to the MCPatcher you used?
It seems that right now, your problem is probably the patcher you used, because I can't find the official MCPatcher anywhere, and thus I can't get any HD Texture Packs to work.

Uhm? Did you even read my first post? Did you see my specs? That's not a sucky PC imo... Did you even read anything at all??

Note that you might have a sucky pc or you might have a very old version of Lb realism

Seriously, I have now tried another texture pack which is x64, (Misas texture pack x64) and that also looks like it's 16x16 or something... What is wrong with my Minecraft? Help please
I just remembered something.. What about DirectX? Cause my GTX 280 only supports up to DirectX 10... Could that be the cause ?

I used optifine with a fresh install of minecraft and LB Photo Realism and here's the results.

(If the image is small, just press the image and it will zoom)
As you can see on the "far" image where you see further away into the distance it looks better since I put every setting there was in optifine to "fancy" or maxed out graphics. Simply best looking setting. And on the "close-up" image it still looks like ****
To me, this looks like the images in the LB Photo Realism is infact not x256, infact they're like x64 or something and minecraft sort of tries to stretch it out?
Anyway, any ideas now?
EDIT: The close up image is not close enough, here's another image with a closer look so you know what I mean. Oh and if you look at the apple on the previous image (MC3.png), it doesn't look like it should imo. It looks to me as if the resolution on the apple image is lower than x256?
Anyway here's the pic.

I have now tried an older version of LB Photo Realism (6.6.8) and it's still the same problem..

Uhm, It's not the moon and sun textures that is the problem. It's everthing...

Ok, I think I know the problem. You may have installed it incorrectly:
1. Go to your minecraft.jar file and open it with WinRar
2. Double click on the folder entitled "terrain"
3. Drag and drop each file (One by one) into the folder
4. Start up minecraft. Enjoy the awesome sun and moon textures.

I'm afraid I don't know what the problem is then. Sorry I couldn't help.

Oh yes I almost forgot to write that. I did use MCpatcher.
Thanks mate.
Thanks mate.

Did you use mcpatcher? Cause this sounds to me as if you simply forgot to. Hope you can sort it out.
