As many people know, when you're making Redstone contraptions, it can be annoying not having the ability to place Redstone on the sides of blocks. Well, I have an idea for Jeb that could fix this.
Remember that gear block people talk about, that got removed for having no purpose? Well it WAS going to be exactly like Redstone, but it got replaced before so. Anyways, gears were able to be placed on the sides of blocks. So here's my idea.
Basically, the recipe would be like so:



And this would make maybe 8 or 16 Gear blocks. These Gears would be able to be placed on the sides of blocks, and only on the side of blocks, and would work with Redstone by being powered by a Repeater, not bare Redstone, just a Repeater. This would help some Redstone Engineers make their inventions more compact to use, and this would save some space for other uses.

This was my idea.
