In the new Minecraft Version 1.22 you can add a Vanilla Shader. But just in the Bedrock Edition

Oh no, they better not
Given the quality of tird party shaders available, I see no reson for MS/Mj to enter that market — certainly not by adding one to the standard vanilla installation. (As an availble "official addition" downloadable seperatly ciould be a different matter....)

It makes more sense for bedrock though because they couldn't use shaders before. Not that I know of.
I'm also unaware of the br situation, but – if that's accurate – one can see why MS/Mj would want to make an attempt at providing a capacity java has.
