I have seen a lot of topics on "minecraft sequels" and a "minecraft 2.0". What these people fail to realize is that version numbers are NOT decimals, they can have 1.10's and onward, and actually do alot of the time. look at popular mods, older games with updates, various other software, alot of them have 1.10's and onward.
Please help spead the word and stop this "2.0" noobiness.

I never said it will be a Minecraft sequel. I posted, that after 1.8 update, and 1.9 update, there will be something. I didn't know what.
1.10 seems weird, but if that's what's gonna happen, then no point in calling people who thought otherwise "nooby". It was just an assumption.

In case anyone's interested, I actually have the old MC 2.0 files in a Dropbox folder. Dinnerbone "leaked" the files on Minecraft.net back on April Fools' Day. Here they are:

the bolded part should prove the 2.0 part, and i not mad about them talking about new features, i just wish people would pay attention to what mojang says more, jeb himself has said that there wont be a 2.0 and dinnerbone said there will be a 1.10 after 1.9
