Hello and welcome to...
MINECRAFT TIPS AND TRICKS!
In this guide, I will be showing heaps of awesome tricks that you can use in Minecraft to improve your Minecraft experience!
So, lets get started, shall we!

Tip #1 - You take fall damage in water when in a minecart.
This is very weird, as you take no fall damage when you fall in water without a minecart. As soon as you touch the water, you take the fall damage appropriate for that height.

Tip #2 - See hitboxes with F3 + B!
I love this. This is extremely useful when playing games that involve disguises (ie. Squid Shooter, SSM) because the animals have the same hitbox as the player, and can be frustrating to hit others.

Tip #3 - F3 + A can possibly stop lag/chunk errors.
F3 + A is a hotkey to reload all nearby chunks on your client. I haven't tested it, but if you are lagging in certain chunks, this could possibly save your life.

Tip #4 - Lava can slightly prevent fall damage.
When I say slightly, I mean it depends on how far down the lava is. You will however need a fire resistance potion to stop yourself from dieing.

Tip #5 - Lag-o-Meter
Does anyone remember back in the day when if you pressed F3, it would show all of the complicated stuff, like the entities, the pie graph and stuff. But I loved the lag-o-meter. Mainly because it was quite useful. It showed the lag in one area, if it went high, that means the game was becoming laggy. To enable the good old days, just shift and press F3!

Sneaking increases block detection range.
Sneaking over a block (or just sneaking in general) will increase your reach.

RANDOM AND MISC. FACTS!
Endermen can pick up roses
The Ghast noise came from C418's cat.
Endermen sounds are actually words, but played backwards and distorted

[Located down in the .minecraft folder, some files have been found and translated to the original sentences from the endermen.]
the "idle1" sound is a reversed “here”
the "idle2" sound is a reversed "hiya"
the "idle3" sound is a down-pitched “whats up?” or "this way!"
the "idle4" sound is a down-pitched reversed "forever!"
the "idle5" sound is a reversed "uh oh!"

Each chunk is made up by 65,536 block, but most of it is air
Every mob in the game can ride a minecart.
Pumpkins are more rare then diamond. Really?
Endermen become passive again when hit by water.
It's easier to catch fish in the rain.
If zombies or skeletons are on soul sand, they wont burn.
A fully charged bow does more damage then a diamond sword.
Despite their lack of arms, creepers can climb ladders.
You cant lure animals with wheat in the end.
It takes 10 minutes and 40 seconds to smelt a 64 stack of something.
It would take 3,000,000,000 blocks of TNT to destroy 1 block of bedrock.

That's all for now folks! Remember I will always update this thread if I see something that needs to be added, and if you like, please give some feedback below! Thanks for reading, bye! (PS. I am not adding the stuff that is obvious in this thread, ie. sand can fall, sand can suffocate you and stuff.)

It would be way easier to read if you switched out the yellow text.
