As many of you may know Mojang is wanting to implement username changes. Yes yes, I know they will give us a ID but theres problems.

You will never be able to change the ID, it's linked to your email, and there will be no way of changing that. It'd be very secure.

You're wrong, Nodus was brought back up in 1.7.2+

2) Their bans/whitelists/op info is now saved with a UUID (unique user ID), not their username.

IDs would be stored on Mojang's end, like account info is. You can't change your account password by "changing the code", so you wouldn't be able to do this with your ID number either.
