Hello, I was recently playing the new snapshot on Minecraft and I went to take a screenshot of myself to share with my friends. I was going to backup my character so I can get my full character but something caught my eye. A name tag? But I was playing on singleplayer! Can someone try to help me see what this is?

Not creepy at all.
Any mob ("entity") which has a visible custom name spawned in by yourself would be visible. The snapshots can do a lot of weird stuff, but automatically spawning in customized mobs isn't one of those.

PS: One thing I don't get; why would you want to share a screenshot which is mostly blacked out? Not sure I get that :)

They're in F5 2nd person mode. Presumably this is the only time OP could see the name tag.

Are you meaning summoned with the name or name tagged?

That "nametag" is way too small to determine if someone just shopped it in or not.

True. This has caused me to crash a few times too. I'm guessing it's a mob with a nametag that overwhelms my computer or something.
