My weird experience on my friends server.

I was on my friends server playing survival, and it keeps crashing (a bit of a regularity). Then, he went to the nether and soon screams that he saw a guy in a steve skin going off a cliff. I have a skin and am in the real world, and we are the only two on the server.
I tp to him and I look around for him, and he sees him once or twice more before spotting a pillar, when this was the first time we had both gone to the nether.
I forgot to say, I am Super Admin, and after he checked the plugins for a Herobrine plugin (which he found one later and said he never downloaded, and I had not seen it there before, and he didnt have time to download it just then, nor did he have time to dismantle any of my perms. Speaking of which) I figured out my /plugins wasnt working, RIGHT AFTER HE DID THE COMMAND. Every other permission I tried worked.
Most if not all of this was caught on my recording. I'll either post it to my youtube channel or put it on Mediafire for a download.

Maybe he downloaded a rat, got ddosed, and then had to close the server. Idk

a RAT looks like the most likely option, and plenty of hackers (er, script kiddies?) would rather just "do it for the lulz" then actually mess you up.
If it wasn't that then I'd say him faking it is the only other likely option. He could even have a herobrine plugin that causes all the other problems you mentioned.

xD ok. But he closed his server I think. I cant get on anymore.

Make sure your friend checks his router to see if anyone hacked in.

Somethings happened that he couldnt have lied about happened to me, and there are still things a hacker would have to do. Not mentioning the server isnt very popular, and/so would it be noticed well. The server is pretty much private, most of the time all I see on are him and his friends. I only got on because he got on my server.
