My favorite time was when the creaking said it's creaking time! and then creaked all over the pale garden

If only you could keep it at daytime. A good addition for redstone anyway
Other than as another form of RNG, what redstone related use do thse have? [Not yet heard of anything]

It feels like it has potential but idk yet
i think the creaking is pretty decent ngl. its an idea that has been seen in many games and shows, but minecraft kinda cooked.
Fun fact when announcing the mob at the end before villager news came back on they reference doctor who by one person saying don't blink (a reference to the doctor who episode Blink which has the first appearance of the weeping angels) so they meant the creaking to be a reference to doctor who
I would like to see it inflict blindness on whoever it hits, the effect would then allow it to keep pursuing a player that is careless. To add a cherry on top of the horror, make it wail as the effect is applied. And, have it's footsteps play all around the player that is blinded.
I'd want to see the finished product…
at present it doesn't seem to have a purpose (the damage only by attacks on the heart is an interesting mechanic, but insufficient to carry it past a few minutes once this is known) other than the [recent addition] of producing resin (which doesn't seem to produce anything but some decorative alternatives to existing stuff).

Plus a truly orange armor trim. I'd love for Sant(a)oria to update so I can have some cool sets.

It's really neat. But it has the same problem with most of minecraft's scary mobs. You can just block it off.. Tower up.. place water.. which really kills the danger it presents.
Well, you can do all those, just like you can do anything else that defeats the purpose of an intended feature, it's simply your choice to play by the rules.
I love the biased vibe of the options basically saying "Oh, it's REALLY bad" or "Eh, it's pretty good, I guess."
