Oh, Okay. So is 1.16 is just the right version for you or something like that?

basically just because of future updates
1.17 - not changed much for the player, and feels empty, and also chopped the update in half
1.18 - nice looking mountains and caves, but I don't want to remember where to mine every single ore
1.19 - no fireflies, no birch forest revamp, and there's isn't like a really epic loot in an ancient city that I go there
1.20 - finally, they didn't overpromised us, the features cool, but I don't know how to integrated into my gameplay
1.21 - I really hope that it will be a nether update like update [like an end update]

I tend to frequently play 1.7.10, 1.8, 1.12.2, and 1.16.5. But my favourite out of these is probably 1.7.10. The modding scene was really at its peak then, at least that's how I feel. And I continue to play modpacks to this day on that version, (lately GregTech: New Horizons. It has been a blast)

Oh, so just like 1.16.4, mod packs are really fun, okay.

1.7.10/1.8 there was a lot more faction/hcf servers and pvp felt alot smoother
1
Oh, okay. I am not much of a PvP player, but I did not know that in versions 1.7.10 and 1.8 PvP felt a lot smoother.
1
Don't have one, but older versions were much less laggy, so I liked them better for this at least. XD
1
Okay, it makes sense, because older versions have a lot less stuff in them.

It will be between 1.20 and 1.8.
1
Yours is 1.14?
1
1.16.4 because a lot of fun data packs are found
1
Okay, I should try out some of those data packs sometime.

1.20 for Java Edition, because it got nore optimized, to the point that for me it's rivaling 1.19.4 with Sodium
For Bedrock Edition, i think 1.2, because that's when cross play was added, and also custom skin packs

Crossplay between Java and Bedrock is a thing (for some servers). 1.20 brings us a lot of new col features.

I mwan cross-play between different versions of Bedrock (PC playing with mobile, xbox with ps4, etc)
