The Lord of the Rings Mod has some very nice trees, so really anything from that is my choice.

Dark oak and it's amazing colours... Mmmmm I love it! :D

For looks I prefer spruce, but for usefulness (chests, sticks, doors/fences on first day) I like birch because of its uniform size

acacia is the best :D it looks so cool it u use that logs

Dark oak is good tree and easy to mine. Birch is a bit realistic but logs dont look good anymore, spruce is kinda depresive and oak is tree of happines. accacia is useless and wonder why did they ever add savvanas, they didn't add anything to gameplay.
