What is your least favourite Minecraft updatenot_listed_location
For me it was 1.9 since I didn’t like the combat style change… however they did add lanterns in this update, so at least it has some positive stuff going for it.

the buzzy bees update
Right now I would have to say anything after 1.12.2... I have everything set up just right including the MOD's to which most are not offered for updated to recent versions of the game. I do, check out the newer versions then what MOD's are offered but seem very comfortable with 1.12.2
Yea some mods are just too good, they become the dealbreakers
1.16 because Mojang added netherite
I can see that, what aspect of netherite do you dislike?
Worst update : 1.17 I hate new ores I miss the old simplicity of ores...
1.9.
🤝🤝🤝
I'm not a fan of the new mini updates they are making (Bundles of Bravery, Armoured Paws, and i guess you could say Buzzy Bees but it adds quite a bit of stuff). It takes hype away from the main update.
I rather liked 1.15, as much for [at least making an attempt at] bug & lag control as for teh honey block (which opened a whole lot of possibilities with redstone)
yeah thats one of the mini updates i actually like lol
Yea thats a good point, and honestly with a server which runs on a couple of plugins and stuff its annoying. Either you have to update everything with a risk of stuff not working. Or you wait longer while the new items are already available
yeah thats a really good point, updating servers is the worst
So many options…
on due consideration, probably 1.16.
While there is much to be said for the new nether biomes, I remain convinced they would have been better added as a new dimension (accessed through the bastions) while would have left the desolate hellscape of the prior nether in place.
Other major contenders:
1.13 (MobB, Drowned, breakage of water mechanics)
1.14 (Village mechanics villager trading)
1.17&on (all of which feel like a slow erosion of the sandbox)

Idk, i feel like all of those add lots of cool stuff. But trident drowneds suck.
That's one of the worst problems: even the very bad updates tend to have at least one well thought out, well implemented, useful thing… …but there's so much 'ugly' that comes with it. [Or just 'yuge' missed opportunities (e.g a mob worthy of Phantom or including both waterlogable and non-waterloggable fences in 1.13)]
Those are well thought out reasons.
For me its basically too that I recently mainly have a problem with when they add lazy stuff…. They're a big company, have plenty of tike and really dont even have to add a lot… I want well thought out things,..
But I chose my main least favourite since they actually added stuff that changed the game in a way I actually didn’t like.. and liked it better it was before it. Which is the same way you chose yours it seems

controversial opinion but i'd say 1.20. I didn't enjoy very much of the added content and i almost never use it.
1.20 felt like it was made more for survival players rather than for creative players like myself.

I can see where you’re coming from, however I did like the more decorative blocks, so i’d say it depends what kind of creative style u play in.
hot take but it's 1.21 for me, mainly cuz i feel like the update was lacking in content. yes new copper blocks, armadillos, and wolf armor, but thats literally all the major changes.
i also liked 1.21 too because now if you want start a raid, you must drink ominous potion, you can drink it if you are ready but in pre-1.21, if you have ominous effect and accidently go to village, we're stuck
The pale garden update because the update had white (i mean pale) plank and i liked it
I love the white wood. I think the doors and trapdoors will be pretty versatile aswell
also the creaking animation is funny when the creaking heart block is destroyed, i also liked resin clump because they can create cool brick and armor trim
my most favorite update is the village and pillage update they updated the structures made trades more advanced added the iconic pillager mob and pillager outpost and added raids
True it was a really fun update, i really liked how a lot of YouTubers made builds inspired by the villagers professions
1.9 is my least fave too
My fave is 1.20 ofc
My fave is 1.20 ofc
1.10 wasn't very exciting
And how about your favourite update?
Honestly, I can't really decide on that one.
Jup, just a couple of mobs that a lot people don’t even care about
1.10.
Added literally nothing
Added literally nothing
Well… magma blocks do have uses (even pre 1.13 making water update)
and who could forget the addition of
and who could forget the addition of
the glorious
Polar Bear
Polar Bear
magma blocks are funny
but that's not enough for 1.10
BAD update.
also i just froze to death in a freezer (in roblox)))

That is very true
Wasn’t it the 1.21 update?
The content is pathetic.
The content is pathetic.
yes the only thing they did was copy and paste a skeleton and blaze make a new structure and then ruin commands the only good thing was armadillos
and also added some random game mechanic into the structure even though idk if anyone cares about it well just except for the mace
Geez, they’d be this lazy with 1.21 content, the amount of work is small enough to be done quickly by a mod player.
An official with that kind of energy might as well hurry up and officially add the failed vote to the game.
I’ve been waiting for an update on the desert and the badlands, but they‘ve been inactive.

yes for some reason people say that it takes long because they have to code it for bedrock and java but they could just have 2 scripters one for bedrock and the other for java and it would still be better and faster they must have 99% break time and 1% actually coding
tbh 1.21 i just hate the changes to the raid system i liked how you got bad omen from killing the caption also another bad thing is that they changed the commands so now most of the old data packs don't work anymore
The changes to bad omen appear to have been made with the intent to kill raid farming. [Not yet clear the extent to which this has been succesfull…]
Unfortunately changes to commands are necessary to get new and even cooler command stuff to play with! I think also unless your pack is really simple, it's probably going to break with most updates. I don't download a mod for the wrong version and just expect it to work.
yh ikr
Yea changing the command was necessary but a bit of a bummer.
1.19 to lagy
Good reason
