What program do you use?
I have seen a lot of great projects of big scale.
I am wondering what program use to do this kind of work.
The program I know is about MCedit.
However, the update is too slow for this program.
Do you use other better programs?

If you're looking for building tools, there's a bunch.
There's Worldedit, more recently "FAWE" (Fast Async WorldEdit), which doesn't crash. You can install the singleplayer Worldedit mod, though that only goes up to 1.10 last I checked.
Or you can find a server. I'd recommend Builder's Refuge, because everyone who comes on there and does /public gets access to 75x75 and 501x501 plots, in addition to full Worldedit and Voxelsniper.
Voxelsniper is only available as plugin, and is more built around making terrain and organics.
Then there's Worldpainter, meant for large-scale terrain creation. It's what I mostly use.
MCedit's main plus point is that it's a stand-alone editor that anyone can use, and if you get a stable version it WILL NOT CRASH, no matter how large the edit. Sure, it'll freeze or lag, but it will keep going, and it's got a bunch of filters and functions that you don't get in Minecraft, even with Worldedit.

We use the In-game mod called World Edit for big scale buildings, paths, caves, and other stuff.
Terrain makers use a program called World-Painter.

When you say program, i take it you mean mod? Well Voxel and Worldedit are the most popular off the top of my head but for the fiddly stuff you cant beat doing it by hand

Many people actually use this program called Minecraft where they place the blocks either individually or fill in an area through commands.
I actually mean that. Because what you're completely ignoring here is that such huge projects also cost people huge amounts of time, and there's a reason for that. Because building in Minecraft is slow and there's no way you'll get around that.
