Which of the currant in-game music discs do you like the most? [Music wise of course]
▪Cat [Music video]
▪Blocks [Music video]
▪Far [Music video]
▪Strad [Music video]
▪Mellohi [Music video]
▪Ward [Music video]
▪Chirp [Music video]
▪Stal [Music video]
▪Mall [Music video]
▪Wait [Music video]
Not including "Music disc 11" and "Music disc 13" because the maximum poll options are 10... :(

Stal🥴

I like stal mainly because of the part in the middle/end where a flute starts playing
4
Ward.
Why? Well, I am glad you asked! 😎
Here's why:
Something tells me you're now wondering what you're looking at and why this should get you excited. The last part is easily explained: it doesn't.
The first part otoh... I am an audio freak who specialized in digital audio design. What you are looking at above is 'ward' being loaded into my de-facto to use audio environment called 'Ableton Live' in which I added the spectrum device (the cyan stuff you see in the middle), loaded an analyzer device I build myself using 'Max for Live' called the M4lScope (the blue stuff at the bottom) and just to show off I also added the 'Ozone 9 Imager' device; Ozone is pretty much a defined standard when it comes to audio processing (often referred to as 'Mastering').
So reason #1: I love this music, I love it. The why is easy: it was the first disc I managed to get on the first server I played on :)
Of course there's more because I can definitely agree that there's plenty of good music within Minecraft!
(warning: audio freak bias follows!): Notice how the lines in my screenshot go down from left to right? In both the spectrum device (middle) as well as Ozone (top right)? See.. low notes / tones are shown on the left whereas high notes / tones go on the right. I dunno about you but high notes tend to stand out a lot more with more than lower stuff. Oh, did I forget to mention that the vertical axis represents volume? ;)
There's logic applied here and I enjoy that.
Of course there's not much audio depth to be explored here (notice the straight line in the vector scope?) but ey ;) the bass can really stand out.
And am I the only one to notice the weird drop in the high end spectrum? That's plain out bizarre (and no, it wasn't me!).

I'm somewhat of a Ward fan myself.

Huh? Only thing you're warding off is your hatred for all other music discs apart from Stal which is obviously the superior disc and shouldn't be disregarded
