What is the best way to advertise?

I understand getting listed on the top server list websites and all that but the thing is, once you get on these sites. your advertisement (server) or whatever eventually gets so far moved down, no one ever finds it after awhile. what are some good ways to keep posts fresh enough so that they dont get buried on these websites. I like how PMC does the tags for things, you get buried here just like anyware else but the tags make it so people can still find you.

When I had a server I used to post a new server page every day on PMC. That seemed to get people on. Also advertise in chat (every 15 mins of course) and use multiple forums.

Bump daily, upload to lots of websites, get multiple YouTubers to do videos about it
(make sure some of them have more than 200 subs, you don't want videos no one will see!!!)

Use a signature on our forums that shows off whatever you want to advertise.
