this is haaaaaard...maybe 1.13 aquatic, but i also LOVE the ones that added a ton of new stuff to xbox 360, like the new biomes and blocks...

1.13 for me. Big, huge overhaul to make lots of things easier for mapmakers, and the content! Oh, how I love all of the new things in the much livelier ocean.

I personally always prefer the latest version, so right now that will be 1.13 but next year I'm sure that's going to change to 1.14.
But the best version overall? Simple: the one you (not me) like best, because it will be you who's going to play with it and who needs to enjoy it. That's actually one of the things I love most about Minecraft: want to play 1.8 again? Simple: make a new profile, fire up the game and wham, you're done.

I love the 1.12 updates. I know they just updated the colours and made them all brighter, added concrete, and a few small changes. But it really helped me find my interest ind building again.
