If I had to remove something from Minecraft. It would definitely be Herobrine. Even though they already did that a few times...

bats and of course the the amazing yet annoying (i forgot its name the thing that spawns in dungeons only, the fish thing)

Bat, maybe, or a carrot on a stick. Pigs don't go after carrots. Rabbits do. In the 1.6 update they are adding donkeys, mules, and horses. That just doesn't fit the minecraft feeling and would make too many mobs.

I <3 the ocean biome, there's a plethora of clay down there. Not to mention, it brings so much to the game. Islands in the middle of the see with mineshafts you can see in the day from on top, don't forget the squids!

I'd have to say Bats. They are useless, They drop nothing what so ever and are annoying and small, so it sucks trying to kill them.

Sponge is great for servers that use it for like a launch pad or a map that uses a texture pack to make it into a decoration block.
Gravel is great for traps such as if someone is destroying your base from under the gravel can fall on them. Also good use for extra blocks or flint!
I think Baby Zombies should be removed, possibly also Bat (unless they make it drop something)

I definitely think they should remove bats unless they drop something. Annoying little buggers, aren't they? Flying around in your large-scale creations -_-

I would get rid of Sponge. They are pointless ._.
I would also get rid of some of the terrible AI , make it a bit better.

I'm pretty sure weakness potions let golden apples cure zombie villagers. Plus they are very useful in PvP.

really? Sponge is a good declarative item and allows for more options w/ Texturepacks to make a sort of block that would not normally be there.
what terrible AI? I see that hunting me down behind walls, and even though it may be annoying, its still better than them ramming their head against the wall trying to poke you.
I used a weakness potion once and it won the battle for me. I was at half health while he was at nearly full.
