As much as I enjoy the game and ALL the new things they add, The only thing I actually TRULY want, is for them to stop updating it. I want to create a world, a final world, that spans for miles, but I know that world will be lacking, because all it takes is one update and my world is missing something vital.
Oceans with plants and fish...
NEW UPDATE, now I'm missing new Nether Stuff
NEW UPDATE, now I'm missing new caves, mountains and potentially world height
etc...
It also means mods would be more viable as there wouldn't be any version descrepancies. I suppose the mods could be what I want added to minecraft.
Mystcraft (Craftable dimensions with some level of control, and some effects you can't, with punishments if you try and make something OP)
Biomes O'Plenty (More Biomes)
Mo' Bends (Better Animations).
I don't mind stuff like 1.14 Village and Pillage
Or 1.15, because the new stuff didn't effect world gen, you could artificially produce them. I just HATE when I have to make a brand new world because a key element of world generation has changed
Edit: Oh and HD Skins, add HD skins to Java Mojang

I like wolves that has armor, rideable, and have storage but without addons. 😁🐕😎

Armor is a maybe, but I don't think Mojang would approve of having you ride dogs in there game.
They could make a new wolf-like creature that you could potentially ride.

Quivers Should be a storage system only for arrow and can hold a lot of arrows. I can see it being mad out of leather but it can give rabbit hide more use so there is that. It would have a spot in your inventory where it can be used. There is a asset for a quiver never used.

I feel like bundles will basically be a quiver, if you shoot the arrows in each bundle at least.

owls!
- they live in most biomes, and depending in what biome you find them in, they will be a different species (e.g: regular forests could have barn owls, snow/cold bimes could have snowy owls)
- when you breed them, you get an egg. taking the egg and hatching it will produce a tamed owlet (sort of similar to foxes)
- tamed owls can be used to transport items to other players in the world.
- they can also sit on your shoulder like a parrot.
- to feed/breed owls you would use raw rabbit or rotten flesh.

Personally, I want an update that makes being a nomad an optional way to complete the game. It's far to easy to set up a strip mine, automate everything, and base yourself in a single area. I'd enjoy having the option to simply travel the world and have it be rewarding. Although you wouldn't have the benefits of mob farms, redstone structures, and mining hubs, you'd have different ways of attaining resources. For example, Mojang could add in huge dungeons and maybe even small scripted quests with villagers. Instead of trading, doing tasks for the villagers and getting rewards in exchange for doing the aforementioned quests would be cool. Additionally, perhaps you could help villages grow as a result of helping them through quests. Arrow-fed Gatling guns would also be kind of neat.

I want a minecraft update. Update everything in minecraft that hasnt been touched in a while, cause if you just keep adding features, the old elements will feel kinda weird and rusty. For example, update animal behaviour to be similar to the unique fox behaviour, fix the terrain generation for structures and stuff, rework the old structures like the plain old dungeons, ect.

I want to have more armor options, such as glowstone armor that would give off light when put on. I mean, sure, the new Netherrite armor is great and all, but I want more options and also some blocks would give you special powers. Like obsidian armor! Can you imagine how overpowered that would be??? Awesome!

Using Optifine allows items like torches and lanterns to light up surrounding area.

glowstone armor isn't possible to my understanding without optifine, and Mojang said they won't add dynamic lights to the game making a vanilla data pack impossible, but you can code it yourself pretty easily. if want better armor too it's not that hard to make resource packs and data packs with optifine, it just takes a while to get it set up on java, I'm no good with data packs but I'm sure there's someone out there who can do something. hope this helps :)

also for the obsidian armour you can just retexture netherite and use a data pack to make it have more armour or knockback resistance

I think one of the reasons nobody wanted the jungle update was because it would make the area really laggy, also the sharks were not added because they're "endangered" but pandas and dolphins are extinct and they didn't care.

Sharks aren't being added, mainly due to the media portrayal of them and they don't wish to inflict more harm to the already evil portrayal of them thanks to movies like Jaws.
