Too many of these posts already, can a mod lock this .. ?

A retired griefer, I actually managed to acquire OP on a few servers. I never actually used the "PMC" technique, though I still knew of it because people would always try it on me.

I always offered to help owners with plugins because I had experience from hosting a server, myself. I proved my knowledgeability and proceeded to wreck their servers. One, specifically, marked the peak of my career. For those of you who host servers running WorldEdit, indulge.

1. Remove spawn protections
2. Select spawn region
3. //expand vert
4. //replace TNT

You know what comes next ;P

Now, as a dedicated host with no part-time griefing intentions, I simply /ban these little PMC ambassadors on the spot

I did it. Once. It worked.
Otherwise I just make them rage for an hour or two then ban them. I make sure to keep a good eye on them because many of them are hackers.

If it works then it's fun to place tnt all under the spawn, erase your player META data from the server, then put a random switch so when some n00b comes by the server and pulls the switch... ;]

But really, these people are a little dumb. I mean it used to work, because people actually reviewed servers (never from pmc tho)...

Now its just dumb because the secret is out, so people who used to, smart, people who do it now? Just plain stupid

What they should say in chat: Hey I'm some random kid from PMC chat and found your server. Now give me OP so I can grief it and make your life a living hell! Good day!

Haven't seen any of those guys recently. A few years ago I would have just banned them (I'm usually a staff member on servers I play on for long periods of time) But now... I'm much more evil, cruel and creative. I'm sure I could think of something hilarious. Be it simply verbally fucking with them or torturing them and then banning them. End result is the same though. Ban.

You know out all honesty the guys who try and get OP an another persons servers are ones who are

1. Too young to know any better

2. Has no knowledge of PMC

3. Can't really speak or understand English very well

I'm sure there is more reasons but the list of lines is way too long. I think it's smart in a MANIPULATIVE and DECEIVING way.

If they actually give me op...

I usually place TNT all over spawn and blow it up

And if they give me OP, I usually do a dropparty at spawn XD

Yeah, I love those guys who believe that thay are really from PMC. And when a Forum Moderator, whos really the staff tells that, they don't believe him. Man kind is complicated in many ways...

I occasionally do actually do the "give me op I'm from pmc lul" or something. It's fun to see what they do to me

But every once in a while, somebody notices that I am actually a mod from PMC, and then they start bombarding me with admin and asking me to review their server and such ;-;

This one dude asked for staff. I said no. Then he said he was PMC, I said no. Started critiscizing the shop, saying barely anything was in it, I said it was supposed to be hard, he called the server boring, yet he didn't even look at the world portals.

Depends on my mood, if I am feeling productive I warp them to my personal torture chamber where I proceed to kill them by: Cactus, lava, void, lightning, fire, anvil, suffocation, mobs, tnt, and sommmeetimes drowning.
If I am feeling boring I just say "Oh cool! You're the 3rd one today I am so popular!" and proceed to ban them

OOH OOH! I have a good idea for us server admins if anyone's up to it. Someone needs to make a suppppperrrr long application on google docs. (I mean 150+ questions) so that when someone logs on like that we can say, "Oh sure, just fill out this quick application (link)"

Alot of players come to my server and say that text and it is just anoyying.

I love these people, so many ways to mess with them. Also learned more ways from this here thread, so thanks for that guys

I freeze them and shoot them with a bow and set them on fire until they leave.

Its more fun for me rather than a burden.

They are annoying but back then it was pretty funny to do it then grief the server.

Now everyone did it and it got overused.

Well. I usually take these people to a huge tank that I built on my server that shoots you over and over and doesn't allow you to leave or speak. As Jackson said
