The spider jockey, because first you have arrows being shot at you, which are hard to dodge, and then the fast spider that can chase you up walls. How horrifying is that?

Witches be bitches, keep in mind they heal themselves, spawn naturally in the overworld, are rare, and are projectile and have ALOT of health compared to spider jockey. And spider Jockeys are technically two mobs. Cave spiders would have to be the second hardest, with the poison and all. Creepers kill themselves, Zombies are easy, skeleton = easiest, endermen = water, slime are fun

I have to say....definitely Endermen. Why? Because they get angry if you just LOOK at them,and then they're all and then they teleport behind you and just try to MURDER you.....for LOOKING at them! Plus,if you look at them by accident.... it's a real "OMG IM SCREWED'' moment. Plus their horribly creepy shriek isn't something to make you feel confident. They have everything the other overworld monsters have,only better:they're creepy,they're difficult to kill,they're griefers,and they have some overpoweredness. Endermen are just so scary when I see one I RUN. Basicly,the most ferocious,creepy,and stealthy mobs EVER. Hope they win...(Enderman shriek)

Enderman Reason: Teleportation they are hard to kill for me I try bows and arrows but the Enderman can sense it and close hand to hand combat was not a good Idea either.

You have a fair point especially as in the latest snapshot they multiply when you attack them so it makes it hard to kill them all as more and more will spawn if you attack 1 and the the other ones.

i think the enderman are the hardest. they can teleport and if you lose track of where the particle trail went... well your basically screwed.

You ever gone up against two spider jockeys and three spider jockeys riding cave spiders on hardcore with nothing but a wooden pickaxe?
Spider Jokeys can't ride cave spiders, but yes, I killed one on my hardcore map with a leather chestpiece and wooden axe. That good enough?

I do not care for anything that gives me a change to KILL it..
spider jockeys are nothing... dead in 3 hits...
equipped with good armour and weapons... I smash anything...
it's those nasty creepers who keep blowing holes in your lawn BEFORE you can hit them 3 times...or worse your creations.. (making gunpowder hard to get item, way more hard than say fire rods..)

I actually really like silverfish, mostly because it's fun to gather a bunch up and kill them all at once with TNT or a sword.

Really, spider jockeys aren't tough at all... they are just rare. I personally voted for enderman. If you hit him in the legs, he's fine-but if you look at him, he takes you down, and avoids you.

A bit, yes. They aren't that hard, the hardest part is when they climb over your unroofed house and attack, then you kill the skeleton and get attacked by the spider, or vice versa

I got to go with a spider jockey, but the Skeleton has to be riding a Cave Spider. The combo of speed, poison, and long-range is deadly.

Second place came to the creeper. All you need is a freshly spawned noob with no armor to survive a night and then go to cut a tree first thing in the morning (which you should never do). The creeper walks up, sssssssss and BAM dead noob.

Actually this is about the monsters of the overworld and wither skeletons can only be found in the Nether

The witch. Their potions have armor piercing; they are ranged, and have a significant amount of health. It came between a Witch and a Cave Spider, but I decided on Witch. Their poison lasts much longer and they can heal themselves, become immune to fire, slow you down, and more. Cave spiders have a very quick poison, low health, and are generally quickly dispatched. Spider Jockeys are fairly tough, but their power is in demoralization. They get you to believe they are much harder than they really are. I did some testing and easily dispatched them on hard mode with an iron chest plate and sword. Zombies are just pathetic. Creepers can be countered by blocking with a sword, which protects you from around 80% of the damage. The rest of the mobs aren’t too hard, imo.
