Windows 8 and Minecraft ( Issue)

Hello my name is McLegendMiner and I have recently came across a problem with my minecraft on my fathers imac I get about 50 FPS without optifine, but on my pc that i have recently bought about 5 days ago which i could not find any Windows 7 computers at the store which i found a great computer that i love it a gateway computer my specs are \/
CPU- AMD Dual-Core E1-1500 APU
Graphic- Radeon HD 7310 graphics
Disk Space- 500GB
RAM- 6GB
DVD-Super Multi drive
Card Reader
Integrated LAN 10/100/1000
Operating System- Windows 8 (64 Bit) HDMI
Manufacture- Gateway own by Acer
Cost- $298.00
Place Bought at- Walmart

But Now to the problems when i open the new launcher and while playing music and looking at my CPU usage its using alot of CPU. And i have updated all drivers and put minecraft on high priority and everything i have found on the internet and when i opened minecraft up today in a small window i pressed F3 and i saw that my FPS went up ALOT! but then when i put it into full screen mode it went back down to 1-5 FPS ive done everything from clean installing windows 8 and waiting to see if i can find windows 7 disk but i put more RAM into my java. I dont get any errors any where but its just the lag i have two accounts and they are useless right now with the windows 8 operating system. PLEASE HELP ME AND OTHERS WITH THIS PROBLEM!

Oh, you might want a i7 quad processor next time you buy a computer (or i8 if it's out)

I use Windows 8 and it works better than on my old vista and parent's Windows 7. The music feature IS inside of the start menu, not a desktop operation therefore may result in some bugs. My recommendation is to install iTunes (a desktop application) and convert your media player music into it. Yes, iTunes works with Windows. IT should also have a bit more FPS with MC.

Ram isn't the issue, Minecraft uses about 250-550 MB of Ram, There is never a need to allocate more than 1GB. Unless you have 200 mods installed.

Windows 8 doesn't really affect minecraft lot. Maybe it's because of your cpu because the cpu isn't as great as a iMac. An iMac probably has like i7 but a AMD-E isn't as great... It's pretty bad in my opinion but I may be wrong. I never really owned a AMD-E.

Its just the bulk of the people that cant be pushed(you for an example) to newer technology because you can only be pushed so far. People that reject it need to learn to Adapt.
I myself hated windows 8, but forced myself to use it, a week later, i love it more than 7.

any other game like tf2 fall out plays nicely with the best settings

thats fine ive tried everything from allocating more RAM to java and doing everything even closing every window minecraft at this point is unplayable.

look here im just trying to put out to word that its just not my computer its others i have friends and other fello minecrafters have the same problem just looking for a some type of fix

I have a windows 8 and minecraft works fine for me.

It works fine for me too but just recently it's been a real pain after I started playing with Pandora and I don't want to stop playing with Pandora lol

I feel your pain. I play music and play Minecraft at the same time and the CPU pop-up comes up so much now. And my FPS is low just like you.
