Hey, so on a recent update it said that you would now get different woodland mansion maps from the same cartographer if you had explored the previous map. I have tried this and it didn’t work. I also tried to buy another map from a different cartographer but it was the same map again. I have a picture of the bug fixes but I can’t upload it. Any ideas? Thanks

Yeah I suppose when I saw the bug fix which was ‘Cartographer villagers will now give maps for new ocean monuments and woodland mansions in areas that have yet to be explored’, I thought that meant I could get a new map. Sort of sounds like it.

That's not how it works. When the trade for the map is generated then it will chose one of the nearby undiscovered structures (in a not yet generated chunk). But after that the trade won't update, so the same villager will always sell you the same map.
The only way to get different maps is by using different villagers.
