i like 2 because its more realistic. you dont have a chain link fence without posts now do you?

the thing I don't like about number 2
is it repeats the pole too often, I would much rather have it repeat every other time.

i like the first one for scaryness the second on for ... well i dunno what i like about the 2nd one

The blank interlacing fence is nice, but the fence design with the rusty poles is much better looking

That depends on the "fence" you want. If you want a fence that looks more like a regular "casual" fence go with number 2. If you want a hardcore "millitary base" go for number 1
