I think it'd be great to redesign the game completely, code and design wise. Right now, it very much seems like they started at A, added on B, then C, then D which broke B, then E which updated A, then F, G, etc.

Not sure if that makes as much sense as it does in my head, but every time a new update comes out they seem to break quiet a lot of third party stuff. It's confusing things like "Minecraft changed what 'used' an item means". But I'm not a coder personally so maybe its all Arabic to me anyway.

I'd definitely do something about the mass amounts of unused servers and such. There's too many servers out there just clogging advertisement space for legitimate servers. (Eg all the servers that will no longer exist after 1-4 Weeks and so fourth.) I would also restrict name-changing to every 3 months or so, Possibly make it like Xbox Live and One free change then you must redeem points. Although I don't really see it fair to have to pay, But it makes our jobs as server owners/admins hella-lot easier to remember players and save UUID hassles.

I would add more structures, and more boats. ( and eucalyptus but I don't even have to say that, it is just to obvious) Also the way mods and texture packs are installed.

I would change how to install mods

Change default texture pack to conquest, add connected textures into default minecraft, and then change the world generation to be randomly generated via world machine to create awesome realistic maps for every world

I would focus on making the PVP experience and fight mechanics more complex instead of wasting time implementing features such a "Name Change"

(Maybe) more structures, as well as more NPC involvement, they are definitely mobs that can be expanded on.

I wouldn't make any changes in minecraft. I'd kick dinnerbone and a few others off the project. I honestly feel like the quality and creativity of the updates have gone down since Jeb became the lead-developer of minecraft.

I would integrate a modloader and something like optifine.
If i would be the owner of minecraft , i Would add more animals ... more fishes and some whales .... some sharks and doplhines... i know there are some mods that contain those animals...but it would be cool if miencraft had them by it selfe

not much, really. i most likely stop the annoying skeletons shooting faster the nearer you are. i would also make it so that if you are a jerk to villagers, there are MUCH more dire consequences. also, i would make it easier to download mods. the reason not much needs to be changed is that all the stuff already is suitable.

I wouldn't add emerald tools/armor UNLESS, you couldn't actually use them. Instead, you give the tools to villagers, and they use them.

Underground biomes. (a few blocks under sea level the normal biome ends and the under-biome begins)

A command to put mobs on teams, as well as commands to make teams hostile, friendly, or indifferent towards other teams.

Slabs and steps for blocks that only have aesthetic purposes. (Prismarine, dark prismarine, andesite, diorite, granite, and endstone)

Make carved and chiseled stuff craft-able.

Notch actually sold it to me and we're working on adding the Windows 10 PC into the game, yeah. We have to do soooooooo much scripting so be excited! You will be able to play all your favourite games on it like Tetris, Sonic, Snake and even Minecraft. This update will take place in mid 2015.

I would add more structures, maybe add more armor, more tools, and more weapons. (Not guns. Would completely ruin the "survival" aspect of Minecraft.)

I want it to go back to where it was texture pack not resource pack. I don't care about resource packa but that's when everything was good.

The poster above listed many of the things that I want as well, but I'd add to that the ability to have a little more control over character creation. Nothing too fancy, like the size and shape of the default character I play, but that's probably because I make machinima and I don't think most players care too much about that.
