It's not hard to find if you bother to look.

They could make weapons that are more effective on different mobs. For instance, hammers would be better against skeletons, swords against zombies, spears against creepers, etc.

Yes, I agree on some of these posts here. I think that they should add a 'Battle-Axe' which has more than one function. Obviously one of them is PvP and I'd say maybe the ability to chop wood at 1/4 the speed of an axe. But still worth while to use for chopping trees as I'd hope that it'd be faster than fists.
Another one would be the 'War-Hammer' But this would only have the ability for PvP.
And the last but not least, 'Spears' I think that there should be spears that are slower to swing, But deal more damage than a normal sword. Thus being useful, But not over-powered.

Definitely, the game needs more PVP content, plus weapons would be a great addition to complement adventure maps.
