I was in Hardcore mode, 1.13.2, with no fire, no lava, no fire tools anywhere near me, no mods, only Optifine.

I was looking in the opposite direction. I turned around, and this very block (marked) was just.. burning? I cannot imagine how that happened. It wasn't the wood next to it burning, it was fire on top of the empty space. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Alright, it's solved. There were 2 blocks of lava under the obsidian, but for some reason I did not hear it.

He might be right unless you mined the obsidian somewhere else and placed it from your inventory by hand (which I assume given you carry a dia pick in your hotbar).
But if you are so sure you didn't place lava anywhere near the ignited block the only logical explanation is lightning you didn't see or hear because it creeped up from behind and was super silent
No okay, I would probably check for hidden lava blocks. Just to be sure that your house doesn't catch fire again.
