Command Block Problem
This is a huge problem I've been facing since the release of 1.5 update. In this problem, the Command Block refuse to execute any given command even with an adjacent power source. (For example, a button.) This problem occurs for every 200th or 300th Command Blocks that I've placed, this problem continues even if I break the Command Block and replaced it with a new one, until I've placed down another 50 or so new Command Blocks.
The command given to the Command Block is simple:
/setblock 1236 75 550 air
Note that this bug is not caused by the following:
1. Incorrect Co-ordinates. I've checked at least a hundred times before posting here, besides, the Command Block is just beside the block.
2. Block Lag. (Or Mob Lag or whatever lag you wish to call it.) In this lag, the mobs freeze entirely, or they freeze for a while, then suddenly move a large distance, then freeze, then move again. Redstone Circuits are also affected by this lag, the redstone will stop ticking. I've tested this with a Skeleton and hit it, at the same time, I'm standing on a Pressure Plate. The Skeleton moved, but the block is not updated.(The time on the Command Block is still fixed on the first try.)

I believe your problem is, if I'm reading this correct: Command Block commands don't need a slash, so just put in 'setblock 1236 75 550 air'. Try that. If it doesn't work, get back to me.

They don't need a slash, but they should work fine even if there is one.

1. Try using ~ instead of accurate coordinates and see if it works.
2. /setblock x y z air 0 replace
3. This happens to me occasionally, what I do is I destroy the CMB, quit and rejoin, then retype the whole thing by myself. Copy-pasting won't work

Nope, I'm trying to replace a glowstone block.
