1. uninstalling and installing Minecraft on my computer
2. Firewall is off

I don't know if this could be causing it, but my friends computer doesn't have a "wifi driver" they said they accidentally deleted it, could this be the root of the problem??!?!?!

All I did before this happened was updating my game also already tried the other MC versions same thing I'm losing hope

If it was working before my only suggestion could be to trace your steps back to that point and undo everything you did between it working and not working.

Offline land doesn't work with minecraft, as each end needs to access the internet in-order to verify Lan. As far as I know, you cannot use computer - computer connection in order to play minecraft.
Options:
1. You can try running a server (using the vanilla mc server at minecraft.net, should be a jar or exe). Make sure in the server.properties, you change offline mode to true
2. You can try switching down to 1.7.5 as there is no difference between 1.7.9 and 1.7.5
Now if these things don't work, as I have not tried them myself, and easy explanation as to why this isn't working for you is because if you have computer - computer connection, offline Lan won't work anyways because both your computers will have the same ip-address. I would try option one, and in the server.properties, change the world name to the singleplayer world name, and then paste in the singleplayer world into the server folder. Then you will have everything. Then boot up the server, and you should be all set.
On another note, Premium will not change it from working. Premium allows you to have skins and be able to log into internet active servers. By changing the server.properties offline-mode to true, you should be able to play if one doesn't have the internet. If this doesn't work, and my hunch is incorrect, then there is no way to solve this with my knowledge.
Let me know what works or what doesn't, hope this helps.
