Game crashes when I open a chest?

Whenever I open a chest, my game quits to launcher with this message:

The game crashed whilst unexpected error
Error: java.lang.AbstractMethodError: net.minecraft.block.state.BlockStateContainer$StateImplementation.doesSideBlockChestOpening(Lnet/minecraft/world/IBlockAccess;Lnet/minecraft/util/math/BlockPos;Lnet/minecraft/util/EnumFacing;)Z

hmm, I know nothing about this. I don't do PC edition. but, I do PE. but, have you tried restarting MC entirely or completely turning on and off your PC. It is simple but effective

Ok If you want help well here it is

A fix for this:

  1. Press Windows Key + X.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Press F3 key. In the Search box on the top right corner, type “Java”
  4. Right click “Java Runtime Environment” from the Search Results, select Uninstall option.
  5. Follow the on-screen wizard and then reboot your PC.
  6. Reinstall Java from here.
