Hi guys i want to make an amazing map that is actually in version 1.13 and I dont know the new 1.13 cmd block syntax so I need your help to MAKE WATER POISONUS. I mean, when my virtual feet will touch the water, I'll immediately get the poison effect. Thank you!

/execute as @a at @a if block ~ ~ ~ water run effect give @a minecraft:poison 2 0 false
An explanation for this is basically the command is making it so you are executing the command. This makes it so we can use ~ ~ ~. It tests if you are in water, and if so, it will effect you with poison. Feel free to change around whatever you like!

A big thak to you. by the way i would be more glad if u will help me one last time. I need a command that do this:
while i wear a determinate item (like a diamond chestplate), the poison effect disappears, or the item give me a heal effect that is more powerful than the poison one. if u get this i'll definetely put you in the map credits :). thanks for your time!
