How do I make a bedrock edition server?

I haven't seen a single tutorial on how to create such a server. I was almost sure there was an edition of MC called "bedrock edition" that was compatible across many different devices such as Xbox, Playstation, and Mobile

There are open source alternatives because Mojang haven't released a dedicated server yet. Here is a list on the wiki: minecraft.gamepedia.com/Bedrock_Edition_server_software

You can't start up a "Normal" server like the ones you play on with the Java Edition, however you do have the possibility to start up your own Realm server in Bedrock Edition which will be compatible with all other versions of Minecraft.
However no Bukkit servers, or stuff alike is possible.
