EsurientHey guys! I’m currently working on an extreme parkour map on Minecraft on my Mac, which when complete I plan to upload here on PMC to projects. I’m looking for a way to make it so that if you touch water, it’ll kill you and send you back to spawn to start over. I’ve watched several command block videos, but none of them are working. I’m also currently on version 1.12.2.
I also need help on how to set a new world spawn?
Anddddd one more thing! It’s gonna be a super long and hard parkour, so if possible, I’d like to be able to set checkpoints whenever the player steps on a pressure plate, and to return to the checkpoint they could do /checkpoint or something?

My Answer: - touch water kills you : /exexcute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~ ~ water 0 /kill @a[r=1]
New world spawn: /setworldspawn
Checkpoints: /execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ gold_block 0 /spawnpoint @a[r=1]
command to tp: /kill - standing on gold blocks will set a checkpoint
