I don't know if this is possible, I see some incredible things on some of the servers out there. One of the things I wonder is if people build these structures one block at a time, or import them from another program? I would like to begin researching how this is done if possible.
Is it possible to download a structure, a house, building, etc, and import it into a multiplayer server? What about the materials?

I actually do have MCedit on my laptop and have clicked around it and seems I need to watch some tutorial videos. Should be fun. I just haven't grasped some things. I would be interested just for the sake of knowing how to do it, in having something premade, either locally or by someone else, and being able to then upload it to an online server. Anyway, yes MCedit and must do some reading.

Check out MCedit if you haven't already. You can export selections of blocks as
.schematic files then insert them into different worlds.
