I was trying to install carpenters blocks and i was looking up youtube videos on how to download and install mods and i ended up downloading winrar, forge, carpenters blocks and java and ive been able to get to a point where i can load minecraft and start playing the desired version of minecraft but i get to the menu screen and the world i had already created a while ago doesn't have the small image next to it that it usualy does and when i double click to try and play it the game crashed and shows me this:

[cpw.mods.fml.client.SplashProgress:start:188]: ---- Minecraft Crash Report ----
// I bet Cylons wouldn't have this problem.

Time: 17/07/17 17:54
Description: Loading screen debug info

This is just a prompt for computer specs to be printed. THIS IS NOT A ERROR

The you are using a world that is not compatible with mods, because you loaded the world in a previous version of Minecraft.
