Minecraft stuck at white Mojang screen

Need help! My friend is having an issue where when he launches minecraft he stays stuck at the white mojang screen and never loads into the game. Anyone know how to fix?

Well, my brother (Nether_King_2) had that issue... try deleting Minecraft and redownloading it- that worked for him... I suggest making a backup of your saves though... just in case :)

Try restarting the launcher, and making sure you're on the latest version
