NEED PEX HELP
Hello, I recently reopened my minecraft server and I decided to get rid of essentials and group manager and use PermissionsEx. Whenever I try to type any command at all in-game or in console, it just lists a bunch of pex commands. I'm so confused please help!

Can you give us an example of a command you're trying to put in?
If it gives you a list of commands you can use there is 1 of 2 things going wrong
1.) Pex has not actually started (Check the console log for errrors)
2.) You haven't put the command in correctly
Heres an example
/pex user <username> group set <groupname>
keep in mind that groups are case sensitive

Permissions EX is my personal favourite for permissions plugins.
As James said, please put your permissions file in pastebin.com, to let me see the file and tell you if there are any errors.

Please post your config.yml and permissions.yml to Pastebin or another service so we can take a look. It's likely to be an error in the YAML formatting.

O yeah I have had that Happen to me many times.
Its because PermissionsEX is not the most stable plugin in the world and what has most probably happened is that you have put something in the Config Wrong and something has happened. To stop it from happening reinstall the PermissionsEX.jar and then check the config for errors (check for spacing errors and things where they should not be). If you can't find any don't worry you might have fixed it some other time as its really weird and then run the server
