I am running craftbukkit and portmap. (have them both open, no problems each) I have my private ip in the properties and gave them my public ip what am i doing wrong or what should i do?

Your router is probably blocking the port. You need to reset it.

well i have port map and can't connect to server/can't reach server

What error do they get when they try to connect? And have your port forwarded?
