I think he`s just focusing on the 1.7.10 version but i`m not sure

you'll have to be patient them, the liscencing on the mod is that the mod maker doesnt want other people re-distributing his work without permission, getting someone to port the mod and giving it to you even though it isnt legally binding it breaks this agreement and isnt fair on the mod authour, they already have to deal with websites like 9minecraft that distribute the mod without permission
