Superheroes Unlimited keeps crashing

So, I have superheroes unlimited mod v4.3.12 and it keeps crashing. I get into my world, I can look around smoothly, but when I press a key, Minecraft crashes. It doesn't give a crash report, unless I can find it somewhere else (which I think I can)
I wanted to try getting v4.3.11 but couldn't find where to download. I have legends core v1.8.3.
What should I do?

The core mod you are using is too new, use version Legends 1.6 core mod. 1.8.3 is for the newest mod version. It can be downloaded here: Legends 1.6 link

Do you mean from the site? Because you can only download the 4.2 from it for some reason. I want to use the 4.3.12 version, mainly because it has the most stuff.

Did you extract the files and put them into your mods directory? Leave all the files as .jar or .zip I believe.
