Water and Lava Interaction Not Working

Good evening, recently it was brough to my attention by one of my members that Water and Lava were not interacting at all. I have posted two screenshots to illustrate the problem.

"Essentials Protect" removed that. If you don't know what this plugin does, let me tell you.
BASICLY: it stops every, and any block changes. remove that, and lava and water will interact.
For the love of god, don't install things you don't know the use for.

I think no melt may be the problem. I am not 100% sure but backup the config for it and then remove it and restart the server and if it is not then just redownload it and put the backedup config file into the server. If it is not that then try this for some of the other plugins. Hope I helped thanks and have a nice day!

Problem solved. I changed nomelt config just to only allow ice not melting and all other interactions under the plugin and I reloaded it and now water and lava works.
