Will my server stay online while PC is off?

Hello, I have my own Minecraft Bukkit Server that I host FROM MY DESKTOP. It's a 24/7 server but I was wondering if keeping your PC running all day and all night is healthy for your PC, so if I turn off my PC at night, will the server go down??

If your computer goes to sleep/hibernate/restarts/shutdowns the server will stop. Yes there is a chance of over heating and damage if you don't vent it well enough, which if you aren't venting it well anyways, get on that. Pretty much anything that would end a program or disconnect you from the internet will be a problem

But yeah, if you are running the server from that computer you shut down, it won't be running.

It is also, not healthy for your computer to be running all day and night as there is a chance it can overheat and damage the computer.

Your computer does the processing for the server so as soon as you turn of you PC your server has nothing left to run it so the server just shuts down
