Windows 10 wont load minecraft

Everytime I attempt to start minecraft I get the pixel format not accelerated error

Try updating your drivers. If your GPU supports DX 10, it will definitely support OpenGL 2.1 (it actually should support 3.x as well).

i had an intel chip that supported directx 10 and only had opengl 2.0.... couldnt even launch 1.7.5+

That is extremely odd. Especially since 2.1 is only supported on linux.

sorry... but you would have to stick with windows 7. thats an old chip and i doubt theres gonna be windows 10 drivers for it you would also have a hard time finding official windows 8 drivers for it i think

does the gma x4500 run minecraft? i know its a step up from the x3100 (which i used to have, had openGL 2.0)

Tell me what Graphics card model you have, and a snapshot of Device Manager with the "Display Adapter" tab expanded
