World won't load in MCEdit

'Ello! Tis me, CHorse and I'm having problems. See, I can't open up my world in MCEdit which is a big problem.

What it tells me when I try opening:
An error occurred while opening C:\Users\jajo8\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\V.0.3.0 - DEMO

'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xc0 in position 17: invalid start byte

Well, any ideers? I'm trying to copy very large structures over, which will be a pain with structure blocks since they only support 32 x 32 x 32 stuffs, so chopping it up would be a pain in the rear end. Help pls.

Was the world opened in Minecraft version 1.13 or higher?
MCedit can't load worlds made in minecraft version 1.13 or higher

Oh... now that’s something I don’t know how to deal with if it’s opened in 1.12.2
for me it usually works.
what version of MCedit do you use?

Just delete MCedit and download it again.
If you still get that same problem just download the worldedit mod. It can copy large structures, but it will be faster the more ram you have and depending on what graphics card you have

can you open up the world in minecraft? make a copy of the save then load it up once, then open that copy with mcedit

something else you could try doing, this probably wont do anything but when you do make a copy of the save, rename it to something more basic like "v3demo"

Maybe it's your computer. I suggest Deleting Mc Edit then, downloading it again otherwise idk. Or reinstalling Minecraft?
