I just wanted to know how i can use forge 1.12.2 even though i got 1.14
basically i installed forge for 1.14 and the launcher identified it however i found out the mod was 1.12.2 and downloaded forge for that version but the minecraft launcher will only identify and launch 1.14
any advise would be nice!

You'll need to add 1.12.2 as a Launch option by going to the 'installations' tab in the Minecraft Launcher and clicking 'new'

uninstall the 1.14 forge version + all the added files

Edit the profile and select the version of forge. If it's not there simply install the version of forge you want.
